India AI Impact Summit: Cyber Peace Foundation flags AI privacy & deepfake risks

Speaking in Delhi ahead of the India AI Impact Summit, Vineet Kumar, Founder and President of the Cyber Peace Foundation, stressed that while artificial intelligence is enabling innovation at scale, privacy, security and AI safety must remain central to policy discussions. He raised concerns over the rapid spread of AI-generated misinformation and deepfakes, calling for stronger preparedness to protect end users, organisations and government institutions.
