Mahindra Finance scales Sarvam voice AI partnership to 1 crore calls across 12 languages
The announcement was made at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026, where Sarvam is the AI Ecosystem Partner this year.
The deployment builds on an earlier collaboration between the two companies and is being positioned as one of the largest voice AI deployments in India’s financial services sector.
The voice agents, developed by Mahindra Group’s AI division, Mahindra AI, on Sarvam’s platform, are designed to interact with customers in their preferred language and at a time of their choosing.

In sales, the agents engage with customers and identify potential cross-sell opportunities across vehicle and tractor finance, SME and housing loans, insurance and investment products.
In collections, the agents are being used across the repayment lifecycle, from pre-due reminders to conversations at the write-off and repossession stages.
The companies are also using voice AI for employee engagement, with agents gathering feedback from field teams and providing senior leadership with more direct insights into frontline operations.
Mahindra AI has combined Sarvam’s voice agents with its own machine learning models to run targeted sales and collections campaigns. The models identify relevant customers or actions, while the voice agents turn those predictions into conversations at scale in the customer’s preferred language.
Each call is recorded and analysed through custom AI pipelines, with the insights feeding into a continuous improvement loop and downstream systems such as CRM, loan servicing and collections.
“Our customers have always trusted us to stay close to them, whether they are in a city or a village. Voice AI has allowed us to extend that closeness at scale, reaching people proactively, in their own language,” said Raul Rebello, managing director and CEO, Mahindra Finance.
“As we diversify into new lines of business, this partnership with Sarvam is central to how we scale customer-first financial services across Bharat,” he added.

Pratyush Kumar, co-founder of Sarvam, said Mahindra Finance’s deployment demonstrates what AI at scale can look like in financial services.
“More than one crore calls across sales, collections and employee engagement show what becomes possible when AI is deeply embedded into the business and continuously learns from customer outcomes,” Kumar said.
Mahindra Finance is an NBFC focused on vehicle and tractor finance, with a growing presence in loans and mortgages, insurance and investment solutions. It has 1,348 offices and serves customers across 5.18 lakh villages and 8,000 towns, according to the company.
