Former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke has launched Entire, a developer platform designed to help human developers and AI coding agents build, review and manage software. The platform offers repository hosting in India, the US, the EU and Australia.

Announced on October 26, Entire is positioning itself as an alternative to GitHub, built for a shift towards AI agents that can write code faster than developers can review and test it.

The platform has three main features. Its Trails feature offers an alternative to the traditional pull request-based code review process. It uses automated evaluations in which AI agents check code changes for quality and security every time new code is pushed. According to a company blog, developers can track issues, ask agents to fix them and set conditions that must be met before code changes can be merged. These include human approvals and successful software tests.

Its Continuous Memory feature allows AI agents to retain context from previous coding sessions, including prompts, decisions and changes made to a codebase. This helps agents access earlier decisions without having to rediscover information across sessions. Entire said its codebase mapping and memory tools reduced token usage by up to 71% in testing.

The platform also offers Git-compatible repository hosting, allowing developers to store their code in different geographical regions. Entire claims its source control server supports code pushes up to 89 times faster than GitHub and six times faster than Cursor Origin, based on its open-source benchmarks. Developers can also mirror their existing GitHub repositories or migrate them to Entire.

“Agents reinvented how we produce code. It changed our tools and half of our workflow. It’s time for the other half to catch up,” Dohmke said in a post on X.

India a key market

Entire’s expansion into India comes as the country’s developer community continues to grow. According to GitHub COO Kyle Daigle, the platform had 27 million developers in India as of April 2026. In its 2025 Octoverse report, GitHub said it had added more than five million developers from India during the year.

Entire began expanding its presence in India in July, when it launched its distributed Git network in the country. The service allows developers and enterprises to mirror GitHub repositories locally, speeding up code access for AI agents while helping organisations meet data residency requirements.

The October 26 launch builds on that offering by introducing automated code reviews, native repository hosting and tools that allow AI agents to retain context across coding sessions.

Earlier in July, Entire appointed former GitHub APAC Field CTO Karthik Rameshkumar as its Field CTO for India to drive developer adoption and enterprise engagement in the country.
