The partnership will give Telangana MSMEs access to a global marketplace through SAP’s Ariba Discover platform, and tools for digital skilling.

Pune: The Government of Telangana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAP India to digitise and empower micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.

The program will work towards promoting entrepreneurship for the MSME sector, by providing them with access to the global marketplace, digital skilling for the workforce and access to affordable enterprise technology.

“We are very happy to collaborate with a global technology player such as SAP…for the benefit of our MSMEs.” Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary in the Industries & Commerce Department of the Telangana government, said Wednesday. "Industry-Government partnership is the way forward.”

The partnership will give MSMEs in Telangana access to a global marketplace through SAP’s Ariba Discover platform, and tools for digital skilling.

“SAP is committed to align with the nation’s digital agenda by supporting MSMEs with the best suite of solutions to embrace innovation and make them globally competitive,” Kulmeet Bawa, president and managing director, SAP Indian Subcontinent, said.
