Bengaluru Tech Summit postponed
The government decided to put off the event in view of the inability of international delegates to attend the event in the present uncertainties over international travel.

Bengaluru: The State Government has postponed the annual Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) to November 18-21 in view of the Covid-19 crisis.
A meeting chaired by deputy chief minister CN Ashwath Narayan decided to postpone the flagship event. Originally, the BTS was scheduled for September 21-23.
The government decided to put off the event in view of the inability of international delegates to attend the event in the present uncertainties over international travel.
This year, the focus of the summit focus will be on leveraging technology to tackle challenges brought about by the pandemic.
There will be symposiums and tech-related talks by experts and technologists. The government has already planned social distancing protocols to be followed at the event, Ashwath Narayan said.
