Even though over half the firms surveyed by EY said that they had suffered a significant cyber breach in the past 12 months, most Indian firms are still not serious about investing in cyber security, says EY report. Global Information Security Survey Report is based on responses from about 190 firms in India. Almost 60% said they are unlikely to detect a sophisticated cyberattack and 31% said their cybersecurity team is involved right from the start of a new business initiative. Cybersecurity spending currently is driven by defensive priorities, with only 7% saying cybersecurity was an innovation enabler.
