How India Inc bid farewell to captain cool MS Dhoni
Dairy brand Amul dedicated its latest topical cartoon to MS Dhoni. "O Mahi, O Rahi...tu kahin na ruka haar ke!" it said in its latest cartoon.
The food delivery company was a step ahead and even issued a coupon in honour of MS Dhoni. "A gift for the city that gifted India a legend," Zomato said issuing the code - MAHI - for the people of Ranchi. In another tweet, Zomato tweeted a pic of Dhoni's jersey no 7 with a line: "we've got comfort food if anyone needs it".
"The helicopter has landed," the airline tweeted in a tribute to Dhoni's famous helicopter shot.
The most loved biscuit brand of India had an interesting analogy to bid farewell to the Captain Cool. It said: "We like our Chai hot and our “Captain Cool”. You ended this game in style - like always; and we bid you farewell.?"
Well, Google's tribute might be a message for BCCI as well. On a serious note, Google underlined what many of us are currently thinking: Can Team India find someone who can fill the big shoes Dhoni?
KFC's message again reminded us how great a finisher Dhoni was. "Always came through when it was crunch time," KFC tweeted.
Disney+ HotStar heard the prayers of Dhoni fans it seems. "Over 130cr Indians urge you to review this decision," it tweeted with a pic of Captain Cool asking for a referral to 3rd Umpire.
