Rajeev Thakkar of PPFAS Mutual Fund talks about relevance of value investing in India

"I don't think we should expect returns like around 15% or plus kind of nominal returns very soon because the interest rate and inflation environment today is very different that we have seen in the past. In the past when inflation rates were around 9%, we were getting equity returns of around 15% but now when the inflation number are 4-5%, we should mark down the expected nominal returns from equities as well," Rajeev Thakkar, CIO & Equity Fund Manager, PPFAS Mutual Fund tells ETMutualFunds.com.
