The stock opened at Rs 930.7 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 940.0 and Rs 925.2, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Lupin Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 955.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 505.0.

Total market cap of the Lupin Ltd. stood at Rs 42248.47 crore at the time of writing this report.

The pharma company is slated to announce its June quarter earnings on Thursday.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3791.0 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, up 2.02 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3716.09 crore and up 12.37 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4325.93 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 389.63 crore, up 34.56 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Jun-2020, domestic institutional investors held 11.94 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 21.31 per cent and the promoters 46.64 per cent.

Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of -156.83 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.42. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
