Siemens Ltd. shares gain 0.25% as Sensex rises

Sensex and Nifty shed more than 9 per cent last week, and the indices entered bear market territory, and the bottom is not yet in sight.
Shares of Siemens Ltd. traded 0.25 per cent up at Rs 1163.3 at 12:25PM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 256.46 points to 38884.75. The stock had closed at Rs 1160.35 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 1716.55 and Rs 947.0, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 12:25PM (IST) stood at 12:25PM shares with turnover at Rs 1.74 crore.

At the prevailing price, shares of the company trades at 53.53 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 21.72 per share and 4.58 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.3.
