NEW DELHI: Shares of Lupin Ltd. traded 5.15 per cent down in Friday's trade at 02:14PM (IST). Around 240,098 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 908.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 915.8 and Rs 874.9, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Lupin Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 955.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 505.0.

Total market cap of the Lupin Ltd. stood at Rs 40211.83 crore at the time of writing this report.


Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 3791.0 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, up 2.02 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3716.09 crore and up 12.37 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4325.93 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 389.63 crore, up 34.56 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Jun-2020, DIIs held 11.94 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 21.31 per cent and the promoters 46.64 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of -149.27 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.25. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
