Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. shares decline 1.4% as Sensex slides

Analysts said Nifty faced stiff resistance near 9,500 on Friday and remained mostly rangebound between 9,000 and 9,500 levels.
Shares of the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. traded at Rs 35.2 on BSE at 02:03PM (IST) on Friday, down 1.4 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 19.2 and a high of Rs 61.3.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 1,076,739 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 02:03PM (IST).

The stock of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 12274.27 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of -8.38, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.43. Return on equity (ROE) was at -5.12 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 320 stocks traded in the green, while 180 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 63.17 per cent in the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2020 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 5.09 per cent and 5.87 per cent, respectively.
