Now a quick glance at what happened in Indian stock market.
Sensex closed 93 points higher at 41,953, while Nifty rose 33 points to 12,362. Market breadth leaned in favour of the bulls.
IndusInd Bank was the worst Sensex performer, down 3.85 per cent, as spike in provisions and worsening asset quality worried investors.
Bandhan Bank climbed 1 per cent after the lender reported a 120.85 per cent rise in profit at Rs 731 crore.
Shares of YES Bank fell 8 per cent as investors were concerned over its fundraising plan.
In the sectoral space, the BSE FMCG index was the top gainer, up 1.46 per cent.
