The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Unpack 2020 event kickstarted in Seoul, South Korea and the tech giant unveiled 5 major products in its line-up - Note 20 Ultra, Tab S7 Plus, Z Fold 2, Buds Live and Watch 3.
To start things off, TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications, Samsung, took the stage. 'I am engineer, so trust me, I love to talk about it (specifications)', said Roh, as he set the stage for exciting new launches.
Mary Lee, Startegy and Partnership, Samsung, unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Note 20 comes with 6.7 inch display while Note 20 Ultra comes with a 6.9 inch display. With a 120 Hz display, the phones are protected by 'toughest glass', as Lee claimed and are powered by fast processors.

Also a part of the Samsung ecosystem, is Samsung S Pen, which works like a real pen but 'with the power of so much more'. The 120Hz Infinity-O Display is fast, making pen strokes from the S Pen even more precise, so you can write naturally. Not only that, S Pen features Bluetooth that turns it into a useful wireless controller for your phone. It also allows Screen Write, that is, quickly jot a note on the article you’re reading, or add a little flourish to a photo you’ve found.
The new S-Pen will come with both the new Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Tab S7 series.

Samsung has extended partnership with Microsoft to Xbox. The company announced that it will be making games like Minecraft Dungeon, Gears of War and more available on Samsung Galaxy devices via cloud gaming. All of this will be made available using Microsoft's Game Pass Ultimate.

Next up, we have Galaxy Buds Live, 1st open type buds in the Galaxy series, available in Mystic Bronze, Mystic White and Mystic Black colour variants. Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus will go on sale on August 21. Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will be available in 5G models for which, pre-orders begin on August 6. Galaxy Watch 3 also goes on sale on August 6.

The Galaxy Note 20 5G variant will start at $999 (approximately Rs 74,724) and the Note 20 Ultra 5G will start at $1,299 (approximately Rs 97,100). Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G variant starts at $849 (approx Rs 63,554), whereas, the Galaxy Tab S7 starts at $1,049 (approx Rs 78,525). The Samsung Galaxy Watch3 will start at $399 (approx Rs 29,856) and the Galaxy Buds Live will start at $169 (approx Rs 12,645).
